Omnidian: why it services your solar system, and how to reach it

Published November 3, 2026 · Facts checked against the companies' own pages on November 3, 2026

Omnidian is a solar service company based in Seattle. It monitors and repairs home solar systems on behalf of the investors and companies that own them. Many homeowners first hear the name when their original solar company fails and a new owner hands service to Omnidian. Here is what Omnidian does, what it does not do, and how to contact it.

The short answer

Omnidian is a service provider, not the owner of your system or your contract. For former PosiGen customers, Renewbrook Energy owns most of the systems and hired Omnidian for monitoring, on-site service and technical support. Omnidian's support line is 800-597-9127.

Who Omnidian is

Omnidian describes its customers as commercial and residential asset owners, financiers and investors. In other words, the companies that own solar systems hire Omnidian to keep them running. In July 2025, bankrupt Sunnova agreed to sell its solar servicing platform to Omnidian for about $7 million, according to pv magazine USA. In early 2026, Renewbrook Energy, which bought most of PosiGen's systems, selected Omnidian to handle performance monitoring, on-site service and technical support for many former PosiGen customers.

Omnidian does not own your system

The PosiGen support site run for Renewbrook and Omnidian says plainly that Omnidian is not connected to PosiGen and does not own PosiGen or your solar energy system. Your contract is with the owner (for former PosiGen customers, usually Renewbrook Energy). Billing questions go to the owner; system problems go to Omnidian.

Before you call

  1. Check your inverter or monitoring app. A tripped breaker or lost Wi-Fi connection is the most common reason a system shows zero.
  2. Write down your service address, your original company, and your account number.
  3. Note the date the problem started and take screenshots of production.
  4. Keep a log of every call and email: date, name, what was promised.
